A dog breeding license is more than one license.

It includes a USDA License, a State Breeding License, a County Breeding License and a City License.

A dog breeding license is required in most states if you are planning to breed  more than 2 dogs for  making a profit from the puppies.

Due to new regulations, not all who think they can breed dogs they can actually get a license.  You may have to have ample space, hygynic environment and healty vendilated areas.  Adequate dog food, and vitamins as well as regular veterinary shots and check ups are required before a license can be issued.

Prepare the facilities such as breeding kennels, grooming rooms, and adequate living space and apply for the license.  You will need an animal transfer license, a selling dogs license, a grooming license and a pet shop license as well as you will need to pay for pharmacutical garbage which is an additional expense. Finally, most likely, they will force you to get  a fire alarm installation because you are boarding live animals.

 In addition, you will need to get a trade name registration and a seller's permit.
