Before getting licensing, you need to set up your company and that requires you to form an LLC, a corporation or file a DBA because that will select your legal structure as a sole proprietor, an LLC or Corporation. Nevertheless, the business name "Union," will be registered as well. For licensing, first, you need the wholesale license also called a seller's permit because you will need it to buy the items you sell wholesale and sell them retail. Second, you need to get a Business License because all businesses need one. Finally, if you will hire, you will need a federal EIN and a State EIN.
